This was not a “talk” evening so attendance was a bit sparse, much like 25 years ago in the back room at the Stanpit Village Hall, but without John C’s tea and biscuits.
Colin Dean brought along his quarter scale BKB 1, unflown at the moment but looking gorgeous
Mike R’s rebuilt P51D, now with retracts and flaps, and the De Havilland DH91 Albatross, a work in progress
John Treble’s large carbon fibre glider - I forgot to ask for details.
And the ever-present Bits Box. That large repair manual at the front looks familiar!

We had a talk by the renowned local historian and Museum curator Bob Wealthy on the restoration of a very early B-N Islander. The similarities between model and full size repairs were very marked!
