Hi to all,
When are we going to get out of this monsoon weather? I have been expecting the River Avon to come visiting but fortunately Oldfield seems to be relatively fast draining. We have had some rare decent days but not many.
The good news is that at last we can fly again at Win Green. Thanks to Peter Willis of the Wimborne Model Aero Club whose patience has paid off and not forgetting the assistance of Martin Burr on our behalf as well as The Wessex Soaring Association.
The Club has been doing well with activities like the Workshops – thanks Paul for organising, evening flying at Durlston Court School and our Wednesday meeting in the village hall at Bransgore, held monthly, with an interesting programme organised by Mike.
Let’s hope for blue skies and fair winds in the coming months and that the unlucky few with medical problems get the good health they deserve as soon as possible.
