QUIZ NIGHT 2024

According to those who joined in, the Quiz Night, hosted by the Three Amigos was a lot of fun and a great success. It was a shame that only about 17 members turned up, when the usual number at a Club night is more like 25 - 30.

If you look at the results below you’ll see that it was answers to the first section “Abbreviations and Acronyms” that set the tone - so how would you do? The answers are right at the bottom of the page, but no cheating! Two points for a correct answer. Top score was 25.

The next section was a rolling 15 minute video of various full size aircraft with one point for each manufacturer and one for each aircraft number or name. This was very popular and the scores were quite close.

The final section was much more difficult! 21 photos of model aicraft noses (and one human nose) were laid out on some tables but it was very hard to spot Wot was Wot. Groan from audience...
