Club members with long memories will remember Dave Philpott’s Light Fighter, recently fitted with Multiplex floats and successfully flown at Longham. Unfortunately a complete signal loss caused a bit of a splash landing. After a lot of too-ing and fro-ing the model was recovered by Dave and Malcolm McKendrick, from the other side of the reservoir, minus one float.

Which was eventually found by Warden Ian and returned to Dave, via David Bintcliffe. All’s well...
