SHAUN HARRIS’S SEAGULL MODELS CHIPMUNK

The French are hating “Le Confinement” which was extended on Monday until the 11th of May; but 95% of them are observing the rules. There’s no flexibility here, each time you go out you must have a signed, dated and timed form that says why you are going out and limits exercise to 1 hour max. Any infractions or inaccuracies are fined - from 45 to 500 Euros ! The Gendarmes are out and about actively looking for people .....My planes are keeping me sane - just.
It is simply the Seagull 304 artf kit: 1/5th semi-scale, being built here in France for use at my local club. It was the aircraft that I learned to fly on back in the 70’s at Roborough airfield in Plymouth.
I take long enough to build an ARTF, so I am not patient enough to build from scratch. Not quite the thing for CDMFC, as it is glow engine powered (Saito F125). I am using a Futaba TZ16 with two 7008 receivers to provide control, switchable landing lights, on-board ignition for the glow plug and instrumentation. There is an electric motor installation kit provided too, so it could be built for use at SF if anyone is interested.
Here are some assembly photos: (I have modified the electric motor battery tray to carry a twin receiver battery supply)
