CHRISTOPHER BENJAMIN’S CRI CRI
My lockdown project is a 1/4 scale Cri Cri. I've previously made a 1/8 scale version from foam, yet to have its maiden. Bournemouth Aviation Museum are restoring a full size Cri Cri, display only, so I thought I'd have a go at a model. They kindly provided a full set of drawings, all 30+ of them. The Cri Cri is the smallest twin engine in the world, 16ft wingspan. Plenty of pictures of it online. Update on my Cri Cri build. Progress not as fast as I would like but it is moving in the right direction. Does anyone have any experience scaling down Junker ailerons? Can they be scaled proportionally or do they need any adjustments? Also the Cri Cri was designed by Michel Colomban, a French aeronautical engineer who also designed Alex’s Luciola.
