Club Summer Thermal Series

Rules
1. Any type of model may be used appropriate to each competition and it may be changed throughout the series.
2. Glider - Launching will be by bungee or towline and there is no restriction on length. Electric - There will be one initial motor run of 30 seconds. The duty marshal may reduce this time in the interests of safety.
3. There is no spot landing requirement except that the model must land in the area in which it was launched.
4. All flights must take place on a Friday evening after 6pm: Gliders at Stanpit, Electric at Kings Park.
5.  Only 2 attempts may be made on each Friday, but flights of under 2 minutes may be taken again.
6. Timekeeping is to be carried out by another member of the C&DMFC.
7. Flight maximums (in minutes) are as follows:

Any overflying of the maximum time will be deducted from the flight time.

8. The sum of a pilot's best four monthly times will determine the winner in each category. In the event of a tie, a fly-off will be arranged in September.
9. A Trophy and Cup will be awarded to the winners and certificates awarded to second and third places.

Safety must be observed at all times, especially with regard to the general public and private property. Make sure you know where the flight line is situated.
