Here’s the list of references from the talk about working with Depron, back in February.

Although I shop at Robotbirds and SLEC there are many more suppliers!

SOURCE OF PLANS AND BUILD THREADS

I have a build thread of the Bombardier CL-415 which has a free plan download at post #2, on RC Groups:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?3026103-Bombardier-CL-415

And a rather more complete thread for the radial-engined predecessor, the CL-215

Steve85 at Summit Models is preparing a short kit of both Scooper types which will be available shortly. You can see his posts on the CL-415 thread.

Finally, you can see my latest plans project, making them all available for free download, although I have not got very far yet!

Motors for this type of model – Robotbirds. This is the link for their whole range of Pole and Stator motors. The ones I use are the 20g 1300kV versions, but there are many options. I use 7” props for 2 cells and 6” for 3 cells.

Speed Controllers – Roborbirds 10A or 12A “Basic” or “Pro”, depending on what’s available.

DULUX MATT EMULSION (LATEX IN USA) MIXED PAINT IN TESTER 0.25 LITRE TINS

Homebase Christchurch is the nearest supplier I know of. Tell the paint mixing person you want “RALxxxx”: typed as one word on his screen. Most of this data is taken from Tim Calvert’s excellent website http://www.modelmarkings.com where there is a colour chart download on the “Useful Information” page. Note that he says both RAL and NCS code are accepted by Dulux mixers (but I have only ever tried RAL).

A list of commonly used RAL numbers is below.

Anything else, just drop me a line.

Mike
