	HURST VIEW, PENNINGTON

As you are aware, Strawberry Field is currently out of action. Until it is available again, we have access to Hurst View, Pennington. This field is likely to be rather wet in places, so please take boots with you. There is currently a large puddle in the centre of the field, ideal for float planes. Please DO NOT go to reception (as instructed on the sign). We are allowed to drive directly to the parking area and access the gate to the field. Should the gate be locked then do visit reception and they’ll unlock it. It is FREE to use this field. As listed below there is a small shop in reception for soft drinks, etc. Please use the toilets, not the hedgerow. Keep all noise low so as not to disturb the residents. The field is available immediately (the weather is not!)

		The Chairman has already sent out a pdf of the field ond its relationship to the campsite. The map on the left shows where the campsite is in relation to Pennington Cross roundabout, by the Shell petrol station as you approach Lymington from the west. The picture below is from Trevor H and shows the features of the field and access.

	Hurst View, Lower Pennington Lane, Lymington. SO41 8AL This field can be used during winter when Strawberry Field is not available. There is no formal charge, but feel free to patronise the shop in the reception area. Please comply with the same restrictions on model types etc. as for Strawberry Field and be mindful of the permanently occupied chalets to the west of the field (for example by keeping the pit area a sensible distance from the hedge as drawn) Park in a suitable space in the area indicated and carry models through the marked gate into the field. The toilets near the indicated parking area are available for our use. The shaded area to the left (West) is a no fly zone. Flying is best carried out within the confines of the field but, if overflying Lower Pennington Lane (marked in white), do so only at a safe height - not on a landing circuit.
