MAIDENS JAN - FEB 2025 Phil Hubble maidened his SAB Genesis Sport, a 12S model spinning 750mm blades Egodrift motor with YGE 205HV speed controller and Theta narrow band servos. All went very smoothly :) On the same day Dave Oliver maidened his SAB Il Goblin Pro, another 12S model this time spinning 700mm blades Egodrift motor with Hobbywing ESC. This also went very well. I think this is Steve Sheridan who maidened his Riot on 2 Feb David Bicker maidened his twin EDF Flite Test A10 at Win Green, reported on in this issue. Subsequently he took out the EDF units and reverted to glider-type Slope Soaring after an “incident” at Oldfield, which saw the model lose 500 grams all of a sudden. And Paul Johnson his own Flite Test F4 Phantom at Oldfield. For the one flight - sorry Paul! - Ed Frank had three maiden flights this time - here’s the Dynam Bf 109E from Margot’s sale, refurbed and flown the first time by Martin Next is a power flying wing frm the same source And finally, his version of a Polaris, which is apparently a nightmare to fly! (Hint - the Polaris had a tailplane - Ed)
