No space for fanciful musings this month (well, there wasn't in the hard copy version, anyway!) - not only did I have to squeeze this editorial to accommodate the glossary on the same page, but there are a couple of programme announcements that I need to fit in here, too. As well as our indoor flying at Oakmead, we have extended our Stanpit Main Hall bookings this Winter to three: The first, on the 12th of December, featuring the new Pizza Base competition, may well have taken place by the time you read this. The second, in March, will include the Bring and Buy sale. Last year this was combined with some free flight rubber flying and we will no doubt do the same this year. However, the club does have a fully functional electric Round the Pole (RTP) setup which, although once very popular, has been somewhat under-used of late. If anyone would like to see this brought back into use, please let a committee member know.
The third main hall booking is for May, the new date of the AGM. We want this also to be the occasion on which you bring along all your Winter building projects. Those that have been completed and flown will be judged for the 2003/2004 Construction & Finish competition and the winner will be presented with the trophy on the night. Please see the new C&F rules for more information on this comp.
Barely enough room left to thank all the contributors to this issue - After years of struggling to fill the newsletter, is a real delight for once to run out of space.
