We have a Club evening in the Main Hall at Stanpit Village Hall
on Friday 12th December. In keeping with the season (There's
a Pizza season? Ed) we will have a Flying Pizza Competition.
These are the rules: First eat
your Pizza, then bring along the foam base, any sort of glue or
tape, pens or paint for decoration and a suitable noseweight and
make a flying model aeroplane from these components only.
Before flying begins we will judge the models on the basis of fitness for purpose and artistic impression. There will then be a trimming session, followed by the flying competition, in the categories: distance in a straight line, aerobatics and duration, followed by a mass launch finale.
There will be suitably festive prizes in all categories.
