I don't suppose I've ever had a model which lasted longer than a year of flying time, but when it's time for them to go, what do you do? - Ed
- Funeral Pyre. Popular when soaked with glow fuel, but not so sound when batteries are involved, eh? Jetex models often did this anyway.
- Bin Bag. Hides the expensive remains from the comptroller of finance.
- Collection of bits and rebuilding. Easier said than done, and often just putting off the inevitable.
- Visit to Christchurch Tip. At one time you could console yourself by seeing the Sea Vixen on the way. Now it's probably illegal to dispose of what's inside a model in this way.
