Hello all,

I trust you are all ready for the old chap with the red gear to arrive. Oh, sorry, you are the old chap with everything!

Okay, 2017. An improved year for modelling generally. We are a multi-discipline club, therefore we won’t all be pleased I’m sure.

Perhaps a little less flying for me this year because of my home life!

We have enjoyed many presentations at our monthly meetings.  Let’s hope this continues.

Changes. We are leaving The Walkford after 11 years . Reason? We are not really wanted. Fees, etc will be prohibitive to us starting January 2018. I have been busy finding an alternative.

Bransgore Village Hall. 116 Burley Road, Bransgore, Christchurch. BH23 8AY is our new home for meetings.

Plenty of parking, good clean toilets and excellent disabled access.

I hope you’ll all come along to a club meeting, first Wednesday of every month & show your support. Our 1st meeting at Bransgore will be on 3rd January 2018.

The site at Harrow Wood Farm, Bransgore that we acquired use for flying FPV Quads has not been used at all. In light of this we have let the site go.

All the other sites we use have been well used. No complaints, just compliments from the site owners/administrators.

When renewing your membership you may now pay by BACS. This’ll save you postage and helps the Club Treasurer & Membership Secretary. Cheques & cash may still be used. Bank details are Sort Code 30-92-02 A/C# 00257688 ref CDMFC/your name

To do this please send the fees to Christchurch & District Model Flying Club,  sort code 30-92-02 Bank account No 00257688. In the Ref Box write RENEWAL. and tick Pay Now.

Then email Brian Brockway b.brockway@btinternet.com confirming No Change or informing your home, email addresses & phone No’s if changed.

Hopefully our annual membership fee will remain unchanged at £15!!! I’ll advise BMFA Fees w/c 20th Nov 17.

All your committee members have supported the club activities. Just because you don’t see us doesn’t mean we are not working hard to maintain a friendly membership.

Finally I wish to thank your committee for all their work and support during the year.
