Once again the series was a closely fought contest between Allan Parker and Brian Brockway with this year Allan finishing the winner. It is interesting that they both used the same models throughout, whatever the weather, Allan's being an Algebra 1000 and Brian's a Calypso.
Unfortunately no other flyer put in a full score card. Jim Telford missed out on one month. Dave Maskell and Clive Spencer put in single scores of only a few seconds short of maximums. Most of the others either started too late or finished too early.
There was some discussion about slight changes to the rules but the general feeling was to leave them as they are.
I would like to thank Brian again for making sure the series was a success by always being there with bungee and stopwatch.
