Last line reality check

What do I want for Christmas?

I should want a Kit I am told.

But they take me such a time to build,

To fly it I'd be too old.

I could ask for a great big Engine. -

For my new Pattern Ship it's a must.

Roaring away, up there in the sky ,

The prop going round fit to bust

Maybe I'll have a new Spitfire,

And re-fight the battles up high.

It'll have to be an ARTF ,

Or I'll never get it to fly.

I gave the list to my Missis,

Gave her time to consider what's best.

I've already got your present, she said.

A shirt, some pants and a vest.
