No, this was not a bouncy landing by David Bintcliffe, those splashes are the result of fish being startled by his Berkely Privateer passing low over their heads. Adrian and I saw them close up when we arrived at FP1, quite large creatures, at least 18” long. Couldn’t see any teeth though. Carp, perhaps?
