Prospective members can click here for a printable Application form.
You will need to apply separately for your compulsory BMFA (British Model Flying Association) membership, which includes your public liability insurance. At the same time you can pay the small fee to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) which is required by law before you are able to fly a model aircraft. They will give you a licence number, and when you pass their very simple online multi-option tick test, your operator’s licence number.
