christchurch and district model flying club

Thanks to all our contributors for an excellent, packed-out and varied issue.  Articles range from a few words on his 1943 non-flying scale Seafox built by a very young-looking Ken Spokes, to the latest in glider technology by Andrew Tubb.  Actually, Andrew could have filled the magazine on his own this time... Ken also contributes a word or two on his quarter-scale Cub, and I’ve had to hold over the second half to get everything else in.

B Leonard Wise once again takes to the air.  This time he is in France (dare I say that, BL?) and some of what he has written may contravene the official secrets act, so I’ll have to ask you to be discreet and not leave Sloping Off lying around where anyone could read it. Especially Clarissa.

Brian Wiseman muses on the longevity of the B52 and whether a small child could pilot an LMA DH Comet. I told you it was a varied issue. Wild Thing Terry Sullivan reviews his eponymous new model and finally Cyril Carr’s Walrus gets a viewing.  And if you want to see something really strange, have a look at this from Trevor Hewson! http://homepage.mac.com/trevorhewson/home/modelflying/indoor/ewbkeydata.html

Happy Christmas guys!
