I was idly leafing through some old magazines, waiting for glue to dry or inspiration to strike when I came across this...Trevor Hewson at the Harry Varr memorial Scale Day at Wimborne MFC’s Cashmoor field. I didn’t note the date of the magazine, but judging by the models he has, I would guess 2004***. Both models and the builder still going strong, even though both have been re-motored and the pilot has a new back. Ed ***TH replies “For the record, that event was was actually in 1999 and, whilst you are correct that the models are still going strong, sadly I finally pensioned off that sweater earlier this year! |
