DLG(discus-launch glider)

By gonzalo garcia-attance

Those with a long memory may remember a question in last year’s quiz—what does DLG stand for? Well, Gonzalo is here to tell you. He has been campaigning his Fling discus launch glider for some time and has an awesome technique which I captured on video earlier this year, at Stanpit. Just click on the You Tube link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci3-ubJF1XM
and you can see him in action. Turn up the volume and you can hear the glider whistle as it climbs up about 100 ft, and hear a spectator say “WOW!”

His best flight at Stanpit is about 10 minutes.

Has anyone got one for sale? I really really want one!
