Whitesheet is a superb slope soaring site but please be aware that access to the Whitesheet slopes is only permitted by Whitesheet Radio Flying Club members or by accompanying a WSRFC member. I'm a member of WSFC so could be available to accompany any CDMFC members who'd like to try the slopes out. (Check the WSRFC website for contact details in the club or text or call me on 07852 403646 to check availability / arrange a meet-up to fly).

 Directions: Approach on the westwards road out of Mere & about 2 miles out & Stourhead House (passed on your left), turn right at the Red Lion Pub & follow the track to the very top. Park on the level at the top for SW bowl, just before that for the other flight lines. Parking is easy on a wide track behind the field where the main SW slope is. The postcode BA12 6RP should find you close to White Sheet lane

 There's a large landing-out area on all slopes at this location. I've included a map of the available slopes.
