Ken, Trevor and I had a late afternoon RV at Stanpit last month. Ken took his Junior 60 and we had the Sealand and Catalina to see if Ken could get a picture of us both in the same piece of sky (but with a decent separation, you understand).

It is in fact extremely difficult to get close enough for a proper formation picture, especially when you are both aware that each plane has cost 4 or 5 months building time and contains at least £100 of hardware! I was simply trying to fly in a steady circuit, and Trevor was playing catch-up, but it was not easy. The best picture can be seen below

Ken had a double failure to take off, due to some extraordinary equipment failure, of which we may hear more later.  Or he may just buy a 2.4 gHz set...
