EDITORIAL

Rather a thin issue again, but thankfully we have the regular contributors.  I get the feeling that Brian Wiseman is a far better pilot than he lets on and that he probably flies demonstration aerobatics for one of the manufacturers, but it is much more reassuring to read how he makes the same mistakes as the rest of us, and a lot more amusing.  Thanks Brian.

Leonard Wise exposes his xenophobia again (nicht sprechen sie Deutsch, mein Herr?) in his escalating adventures, but it is comforting to read that his purchase at the air show was a high wing trainer not an F14 with a gas turbine.

Darrell Firth of Lesro Models asked me the other day if I would be prepared to build someone a model from a kit (“He’ll pay you, of course” said Darrell) and I had to say that my building board was stacked up for the next 10 years, but that I would let you all know. So if anyone would like to build a model and be paid for it, please get in touch with Darrell direct, on 01202 499354, or pop round to Lesro and chat.  Needless to say, you must be a thoroughly competent builder!

Mike
